The association teaches members to play on a variety of orchestral instruments (saxophone, clarinet, trumpet, flute etc). Members are drawn from the village of Trausse and its neighbouring villages in both the departments of the Aude and the Hérault.

As experience and ability grows, members of the club have the opportunity to participate in external events. The workshop actively seeks local events for which it will provide a band at a modest cost.

The experienced members play in the band "TRAPEZ", formed in conjunction with the music club at Pezens, the 'Reveil Pezenois'. We welcome experienced musicians (wind instruments) to play with us at our Friday evening rehearsal sessions et Pezens and in our outings.

New members, especially beginners, are always welcomed. Training is provided at all levels in the clubhouse, provided by the Mairie of Trausse, next to the Post Office at Trausse :

• Wednesday afternoons from 3pm to 6pm
• Saturday mornings between 9am and noon
• Saturday afternoons from 3pm to 6pm

TRAPEZ band rehearsals are held at Pezens on Friday evenings.

Our project for 2005 is to establish an annex in the canton of Olonzac (in the Minervois Héraltais), probably in the village of Siran.
