'La Chapelle Ste-Cécile'
 Ste-Cécile
Commune :Tourouzelle
Location: Leave Tourouzelle in the direction of Castelnau-d'Aude on the D527. About 2km west of Tourouzelle, you will find the romanesque chapelle of Ste-Cécile on the left hand side of the road.
Visits:The church is unattended and normally has a metal gate on the porch, closed with a padlock.
Comments:

The church of Ste-Cécile is on the site of a former leper colony, placed in accordance with tradition well on the outside of the village. It is of simple rustic construction with an architecture much simpler than that of St Germain, for example.

Outside the church has been installed a cross in the memory of M. Marty, Chevalier de la Légion d'Honneur, a former maire of Tourouzelle who died in 1865. Strangely, the inscription has been installed upside down.
An annual procession is held to the chapel on 22nd November.
