Artists living and working in the Minervois

There are many artists, painters, sculptors, potters scattered around the Minervois. I discover them gradually and present them to you through this page. Many have permanent exhibitions and all welcome visitors.

Last Autumn, the Minervois welcomed visiting artist, Sarah Adams, from Jersey in the Channel Isles. Sarah, well known for her land and seascapes, selected the Minervois for her next series of paintings. She especially wanted to capture the rich autumnal colourings of the vines and the rugged and arid Mediterranean features in the Minervois. She based her campaign in Siran, staying in The Cottage at the secluded site of Le Théron.
