"We have had a wonderful time here - it has been very hot but well worth the trip. Minerve, Carcassonne and Lastours are all within easy reach and are good to visit. Canoeing from Roquebrun is amazing, as are the hills on the Montagne Noire for cycling. The local pool at Peyriac is great for cooling down late afternoon. Narbonne Plage is the best beach and is only 3/4 hr drive away. We found the Lac de Jouarres a disappointment - smelly and no shade. Olonzac has a great little park for children. Best of all is the landscape, - sit on the rock and admire it ! Thanks to Philip and Margaret for making it all possible!" - Helen, John, Tom and Jack - Bath, England.
